This evening we made playdough balloons. Garland loved touching them, squishing them and picking all 4 up to carry around. She also carried them individually which is great for building strength in both fine and gross motor skills.

Balloons!

Introduction
I set up this blog for my daughter, a three year old who is autistc.
Garland was diagnosed May 2011. With extensive schooling and therapies, Garland continues to strive and is progressing.
I am working with Garland, on how to learn through play, as I learn and grow myself with new ideas, etc, I plan to share these ideas with other moms of special needs children.

Rain, Rain, go away....
We have had ALOT of rain recently, so I made Garland an indoor hopscotch. She is learning to count and loves to count and jump, so it's perfect for that!
It's also a great mind/physical strengthening :)
